Pretty obvious Detroit doesn't consider. Marner is great but come on.

Ouch, do you have naked photos of those other team's GMs?

Most of those are way too lopsided in the Leafs favour.

Monahan, if he stays healthy, gets more than that, a 2nd at least (if the leafs had one) or a real prospect that they need (they have a ton of small winger prospects)

CGY might give you Tanev for that but both defenders for 2 3rds and Niemala is more than wishful (why would cgy want brodie back? if they are moving UFAs)

Quick and very EASY decline from Detroit. Why would they want a 26 y/o impending UFA winger over a 22 y/o RD RFA?
Looking to compete now, which trading for someone older and far less term will just relegate them to mediocre success in playoffs.

Don't think Toronto takes it either; think they'd prefer offense since thats what typically fails them come playoffs.

Leafs say no to all of these what’s the point of trading Brodie for the exact same defender in tanev now I would like to acquire tanev but not at the cost of Brodie

I agree it's a good offer but there are far fewer top pair RHDs than there are top line wingers.
