Now obviously how true it is I have no idea but I saw something about the hawks maybe trying to aquire Joel Amira from the habs? I'd possibly do it but what would the habs need to throw in with him?

MTL are scratching Jesse Ylönen who has played great since game 1 to showcase Armia tonight …
I don’t think it’s going to be a major asset but MIN 3rd should be the maximum to pay. We don’t really have any reason to pay to dump him since we can bury him in the AHL

Gosh i hope not unless Montreal gives us something good. He obviously has no value to the Hawks, and even at half retained I don't think he has value at the TDL

Sorry but Habs aren't paying to dump Armia when his buyout is less than 1 mil for 24-25 and 1.33 mil for 25-26. There is no use in paying to dump him a year early when his buyout is that cheap

Hawks shouldn't touch him for less than a 2nd at a minimum. Hawks don't need him and don't have a regular lineup spot for him. He's the poster boy for a cap dump from the Hawks perspective.

You wouldn't have to pay anything to get him, he was waived and no one wanted him. If anything Montreal would be paying you guys a 2nd I'd imagine

No you absolutely don't want him And shouldn't be trying to acquire him

That's the point he was waived and no one took him so why would the Habs pay anyone to take him when we don't need the cap space and his buyout is so cheap. It just doesn't make sense for either of these teams (Chicago to trade for him without getting anything in return or Montreal to pay to move him when we don't need the cap space). IMO Armia will just be buried and IF we need cap space next year we will pay to move the final year or buy him out in the offseason

Armia is so easy to buy out, MTL wouldnt pay anything valuable to dump him.

The one thing I can say as a Habs fan, is that Armia was playing like an unbelievable player while on a line with Corey Perry.
He was worth every penny on his contract.
The BEST of Armia was always with Perry.
And Perry's in Chicago.
And Perry's got a big mouth. I'm sure he may have asked the GM to go get that guy while his value is rock bottom.
