Not sure what else to add, even as a Bs fan, but Carlo has been their best D-man this season. It's a case of his value to the team being so high that not much is going to pry him away, even if it's a stellar offer (which this one isn't tbf). And they don't need to clear cap space when they have 25 mil next season

If bruins move cap Forbort/ grzelcyk will be moved first
Then Frederic or debrusk
Then Ullmark

Carlo has been playing top tier defensively this season and is big part of our long term core, unless a u25 top 6 Center is coming back in return bruins won’t move carlo

Despite not providing much offence, Caro is an excellent defenseman signed at a decent cap hit. he can eat big minutes and play a shut down role, not to mention being prime-aged, providing great size, and signed for 4 years. He'll cost a fortune to pry away. Anyway, Boston is competing right now and they will only be looking to add now while their window is open

Only way he is put on the table is in a package for a legit 1C 25 or under.

If I’m being honest Edmonton doesn’t have anything bruins would want in place of Carlo except a package deal for drai or mcdavid which is unrealistic.

CGY-EDM trades are rare but so was the Neal-Lucic. Both are overpaid with term and looking for fresh starts. Defenseman do well in CGY and they are selling this TDL so they could be looking for defenseman with term, and getting McDavid a proven weapon like Huberdeau who needs a fresh start could work really, really well.

I mean, Calgary has such a lack of any Elite forward talent, Huberdeau would have to improve. I'm not sure if Nurse would improve, but I doubt it would matter given that Calgary will be on the rebuild any day (and should have been the minute Gaudreau left).

Yea but it looks like Huberdeau is cooked in Calgary. Just doesnt seem like itll ever fit. If they do decide to blow it up then they should get rid of him withou taking on other bad deals if possible imo

if they're going to clear cap (not sure why they need to) they would move Gryz forbort jvr geekie probably debrusk all before they move Carlo. Carlo's value to other teams may or may not be high but his value to the Bs blue line is huge so he's not going anywhere without a legit top 6 forward coming back with term or a handful of draft picks.
