Boston probably says no as they're essentially robbing Peter to pay Paul. If they decide to commit to a run this season they would be looking for a wing like Bert, but not at the cost of one of their other top 6 wings, despite DeBrusk not scoring this season.

So Boston is basically just trading a guy whose said he wants to remain with the Bruins for a player who left Boston because he wanted more money Huh?

Idk if the leafs will trade either of their 1st round picks in the next 3 years, that's the only picks they have in the first 2 rounds.
