On the LAK side, I agree, but on CAR and EDM side, the Goalie situation is really troublesome and they would accept. Looking at the trade I also think they would, in a normal situation, deline. However, with Andersen out and EDM 2-9-2 so far, they would do this trade.

Goalies have been so inconsistent these past few seasons that their price is going lower unless we are talking about Hart , Ullmark, or Saros.

You're likely retaining to get that kind of value from a team.

I still think it's more likely they sell Monty off with retention, he's a better goalie, younger and could come with a 500,000 AAV which no other goalie on the market could match

Canes can just run Raanta and PK, as well as Halak (if signed), and would much rather do that than overpay for Allen. Canes aren’t going to jump on any goalie trade at the very least until a timeline for Freddie’s return becomes more concrete. Besides, there are better options than Allen if the Canes went to the trade market.

Also, have we all forgotten the performance that Allen recently put up? What was it, 4 goals on 9 or so shots?

Ahhh... the fake Habs fan... guy posts Montreal Canadiens rosters trying to bait and troll.
You're showing your true colors now.

        lol

However, that being said, I agree that Allen is not worth this right now.
But for Edmonton, they would send a 2nd round pick RIGHT now to end the bleeding; they're in deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep s**t won't you agree?

(again, you have to put aside your hatred for the Habs, and just be plain fair; think of Edmonton's needs in a win-now mode).

Who is the best goaltender that Edmonton could secure for Dylan Holloway and a pick?

All 4 goals in the first 20 minutes and all 4 were Mathesons guys
3/4 goals he was caught in the same spot infront of Allen in his view
1/4 he kicked the puck in on Allen scoring for the opponent.

But Allen went to the bench supporting the team
He didnt pity himself or lash out
He said i **** the bed and focused on being a teammate
as he said in the interview after the game

A second is a whole lot different than bourgoult 3rd and 4th. If salary is retained maybe but I think edm goes after someone better.
