These are possible deals I could see the Rangers making, not saying they will happen or this will be the trade, but guys they may want to target come deadline day

I don’t see how Schmaltz fits next year when they have to re-sign Lindgren, Kakko and Schneider

AZ is not trading schmaltz for a late 1st (when have a bunch of 2nds)

So you’d like a PPG forward who’s not even available for 2.5 years at $4.3m, and you think that’s only going to cost one singular late first? Well, good luck with that

Rumor is Nino is signing an extension in Winnipeg. His agent came into town this week and it sounds like Nino likes it here. He’s (as well as Iafallo) is exactly the kind of middle six we have needed since we lost Tanev and Perrault

Like maybe Braden Schneider or Miller? I could potentially see that if Rangers are concerned with cap in the coming years.

I know they keep saying one month, but I don't think they ever actually released what his injury was. I think it is a lot worse than they are leading on. I'm feeling like he might be able to come back in February or March. At that point, if they are up against the cap, might as well just keep him there on LTIR so they can add guys with salary at the deadline and then bring him back for the playoffs.

Arizona isn't trading their second best winger for a single pick, and especially not retaining it.
