Description

The flames need to do everything in there power to allow Jonathan heuberdeau to succeed. Even if that includes Over paying for a 60 point guy in charlie coyle.

By moving on from the guys who have clearly no interest in staying it allows a new culture to grow with not as much negativity and by collecting some top prospects to add to your already stacked pool it will leave a bright future for calgary and there fans

As a bruins fan I don't think I would want to move on from Charlie coyle but from a flames prespective I think Craig Conroy needs to dial Sweeney and try anything/everything to get Coyle for the sake of heuberdeau

Absolutely not on the Boston trade. Our 1st should 100% be off the table for any trace negotiations. Especially right now. That might be a very high pick and to just trade it away, would be the dumbest thing Conroy could do

What's with the second Boston Trade? Coyle is not worth that much, let alone if Calgary is going to have a high pick this year.

Hanafin is a really good player but holy overpay my guy.

Mangiapane without retention and a 2nd is about as high as I'd ever go for Coyle.

Edvinsson+1st+4th round pick > Noah Hanifin, And it's not even close. Sorry but pending UFAs don't return 6th overall blue chip prospects like Simon Edvinsson.
