Description
We're definitely not close yet, and it's laughable that some thought we would be playoff contenders this year.

We'll finish bottom-3 this year (after 18 games we're worst than we were last year), and probably get another top-10 pick next year (2024-25).

Stars are aligned for us to start climbing in 2025-26, when our prospects come into their own and our oldest core player is still only 26 (Suzuki).

In the meantime, it's important to keep growing organically, unload contracts and trade vets for futures.

***In this scenario, we end up picking 4th in the 2024 draft.

Nashville declines pretty easily and i dont see why Seattle and St-Louis would have interest in doing that

I seriously doubt that Nashville has any intention to move Askarov - unless it’s for a chance at finding a 1C

Why would the Rangers dump Goodrow as a cap dump when if they wanted to they could easily get at least a 3rd for him without a draft pick attached?

Given the injury situation in NYR I doubt they move Goodrow, not to mention paying a first to get rid of him.

No way the rangers get rid of the goodrow contract without spending assets

Blue decline. We are not in a position to trade our 1st. It's something I don't see us doing unless we are bringing in a player who is 25 and younger not one who is 29 already

I don’t even think going from Leddy to Matheson is beneficial for the Blues. Certainly not a 1st and a 1st round prospect drafted last year beneficial

The Blues and Preds look at you like you're crazy and Homer Simpson backwards into the bushes.
