That would be a mistake for Arizona.

If he wants to go there, wait till UFA and sign him 8x13, whatever. If he doesnt want to go there, he is not signing extension, regardless of trade.

Leafs are the only team allowed to give willie 8yr contract, any other team is only allowed 7yrs.

Can you stop saying that everytime man? There's literally a higher probability that they arent on his no trade list.

I'm still saying there could be a Nylander/Schmaltz deal that each side would like. Not the only pieces, but it's the core.

If he likes money, yeah, we could easily sign him. It’s not like Toronto is some impenetrable juggernaut, they have one series win in the cap era, which is less than Arizona.

Doubtful, if nylander leaves the team and I hope he doesn’t it’ll be in free agency this makes the team far worse losing him

Their arena is a “loaner” and holds 5,000 people; team has gone bankrupt twice 🧐. Doubtful any top FA signs there 😕. And Toronto is the premier franchise in the league but maybe you’re right 🤷🏻

You did go bankrupt in 2009, then were managed by the nhl for a few years, then were kicked out of your arena but other than that - preferred location for nhlers.
Give me an example of a legit , top FA that signed with the Yotes 😂

Because an owner files for bankruptcy doesn’t mean the coyotes were ever a negative asset. Learn a thing or two about business bud. They also weren’t kicked out of Glendale, they wanted them to sign a 25 year extension and when they didn’t they moved towards the mud slinging. Give me one example of someone avoiding AZ?

OK, you made a mistake - the team went bankrupt in 2009. Name another team in a major professional sports league that doesn’t have a home arena?
And pretty to hard to prove a negative but lack of any top FAs ever signing with the Yotes sort of implies that ALL past top FAs have avoided Yotes.

Does not matter, still bad trade. I assume Arizona has to overpay him, if he even sits to table.

That little arena has 3 times the atmosphere of Scotiabank Arena or whatever it’s called now.

Not going to get into. back and forth with you about arguably the most embarrassing facility (& franchise) in major sports. It is what it is, but it’s an embarrassment to the league

I confess to having indulged in…among other things…sushi and wine at a Leafs game…but the atmosphere is what it is..lame

I suggest taking in a Browns game, sit in the dog pound and tell me then what you think of your arena during a hockey game

There are so many more great venues… Toronto is…outside of the days of Kawaii…well lame as I said to be kind
