Description

Don't look at who is being traded to who, that doesn't matter.

This is a game. The goal of the game is to guess the correct stat line.

I have made two trades involving Calgary Flames players, Nikita Zadorov and Chris Tanev.

I have looked at similar players, their stat lines, their AAVs, and what they were traded for.

To make this game somewhat challenging, I have removed the players' cap hits and taken the average of their past 140 GP worth of games. For most players, this is across two seasons, for others, this may be averaged over 3 seasons due to injuries/personal matters/etc.

Your goal is to guess the correct stat line for the player - Zadorov or Tanev. If you can pick them out of the bunch, you win the game and can set their trade value!

I believe Zadorov is 1, I looked it up the other day so I'm cheating, but he was playing 3rd line minutes and had less than 5 goals, when he was traded.

More important is the 14 goals he had last season, playing lot's of top 4 minutes, filling in for injuries.

Tanevs simple stats are unimportant. His smile and underlying metrics are what tell his tale. No one knows his stats because they don't matter

Is CGY looking to replace these UFAs with cheaper, younger, less talented options? Does the Michael Vukojevic (or Cal Foote) kind of player with adds work? RFAs in the 800k range make any sense?
