No chance. Laine is wholly uncompelling as a central piece and there isn't another piece in there that's all that interesting, either. Further, there's zero chance you'd be allowed to include a (IMO) cap dump like Peeke. You'd have to start with one of Fantilli or Jiricek and then build from there.

Agreed, as a Jackets fan. It would start with Jiricek or Fantilli, an unprotected 1st either this year or next (potentially both), and build from there. In that case, it just doesn't make sense for Columbus.

Wont happen even if you dump a bedard level trade package in front of them. Right now the oiler’s window is start to slam down shut in front of their eyes and they are going to do whatever they can to prop it open just for a bit longer. They are not going to move a core piece right now.
