Which side adds? I feel like this is honestly very fair as a fan of neither team.

I could see Boston's hesitancy but I dont see a world where they have Swayman and Ullmark under contract come october 2024.

Yeah you’d have better luck getting Ullmark but Mercer doesn’t sign that low

Mercer is good no doubt, but its much easier for this team to fill his gap in FA or using other assets. Of course if Boston would take a 1st instead then they should do that I agree, but if its mercer or nobody, it would be stupid to not pull the trigger

What other goalies are out there? Saros isnt. That is really it

Let it go they are never trading swayman. And no thanks on gaudreau dude is having a poor season rather get duhaime or Blias in Free agency.

He's currently playing with Toffoli-J. Hughes. He's been getting back to the player he is supposed to be after a tough start.

nearly 30 goals last year as a 21 year old horrible start to this year but has 9 points in his last 11 games

A complimentary top 6 player. It's not a bad offer, but Boston would certainly want to see what is out there for Ullmark and who makes it to UFA before pulling the trigger.

This is what I was wondering about Mercer seems to be more of a complimentary player than a true top 6 line driver
