Not only are we not interested in Jeff Carter, but we have literally 2 dollars in cap space and are taking in more cap than we are shipping out

Problem . Don't have the cap and if Carter waives here he's not waiving to go elsewhere. He's not waiving to begin with though.

It's very evident that it is time to rebuild. Team isn't going anywhere this season and next season it will only get tougher. Best to sell at deadline then fully commit to rebuild this offseason.

yeah i know he wont waive but in this hypothetical we would have him and either fleury or smith as the healthy scratches. It would prob take a 6th to get rid of myers so its a 6th, 3rd and watson for pickering basically
