By what metrics? Point production and the hope that he'll turn out like his older brother Quinn? Because to that I say, A) the Devils are fine on OFFENSE and it's actual defense that's the problem, and B) defensemen usually hit their strides and develop properly years later than forwards do. Do you really want to be waiting another 4-5+ years for him to get out of the growing pains stage? You were supposed to be contending this year.
