I think that is crazy overvaluation. Goalies dont tend to carry much value, unless they are among the league's best. Dowd is a 4th liner, he will not bring back a 2nd.

idk teams tend to overpay for low cap hit players that are able to fill immediate role in their lineup. Eller got a 2nd last year Dowd is better than Eller. Lindgren imo isnt worth more than a 2nd but atm hes putting up fantastic numbers on one of the worst defensive teams in the NHL at a low cap hit and he has term. Again not likely but aagain Jeannot got massive assets Foligno got a 1st... teams will pay if you can be effective at a low hit imo
