I think it needs to happen. I know we all want to see Crosby and Ovi together. They both rock a C, because it would just be the right thing to do. haha

Don't know if all the trades are super realistic, but a rebuild this offseason is. I think this is probably what will end up happening. Sell at deadline then start of rebuild offseason. I would love if big 3 stayed to help the next generation, but they are not entitled to. They've earned the right to go elsewhere. Hypothetically I think Malkin and Letang bring back 1sts. Crosby potentially two. Karlsson it depends on a lot of factors, but I would think at half retained he'd get a 1st.

Colorado might have some interest in Crosby if he waived. Not so sure about mercurial Malkin.

yeah i don't see CAR moving that for a scoring winger... they need goaltending...

Sid i think wants to finish his career in PIT if nothing else for personal sentimental reasons... that being said if there were ever a rift or schism between him and upper management i can see him taking his last season or 2 at age 40 and going to a MTL/COL type place or wherever his close friends are.....
