What draft picks are Montreal willing to add? I'd want a '24 1st for Kuzmenko and at least a 2nd for taking on Savard's contract.

1st makes sense for Kuzmenko but Savard isn't negative value at 3.5 x 1, he's a second pair guy who can eat minutes and play PK

Savard is a non starter. Kuzmenko we would need two firsts.

Savard would be the Canucks 7th best dman. Hughes, Hronek, Cole, Soucy, Zadorov, and Myers are all better. He’s negative value for us

The problem is Savard is awful. He’s legitimately been worse than Tyler Myers the last 3+ seasons

Montreal can keep Savard.
Don’t see Kuzmenko as a Montreal Canadien.

Podkolzin would be an interesting asset for MTL, not Kuzmenko. Younger, Cheaper, bigger.

savard doesnt make sense anymore for vancouver. before the zadorov trade it could have. But now they sort of have the same guy that could do what savard does.

you could argue he could be a slight upgrade on third pair but not enough to warrant to trade for him.

I agree that Savard doesn’t make sense in Vancouver at the moment. But the Habs trading for Kuzmenko makes no sense either. Pass.

Seattle's not trading for a goalie without the other team taking one. They have enough money tied up in average goalies already.
