Pass on all and nyi likely pass too leafs aren’t paying nylander more then 10 and leafs refuse to put minten on the 4th line

I’m all for getting a solid RD but he is one guy I’m not willing to part with. Nylander, Robertson, Bertuzzi, Minten, Cowan, Niemela, Brodie, Lily, Sammy🙄, draft picks I’d be ok in some sort of package for Pulock. But Knies is one of the untouchables for me.

Well I wouldn’t trade Knies because first off we need a player like him in our top 6 and 2nd his rookie cap hit helps us tremendously. I also personally wouldn’t sign Brodie and definitely not for 3M guys washed. +lily probably fetches a way better return

Nylander is on pace for 110+ points and the cap rise is going to have an inflationary effect on contracts so 10.5 would be a bargain IMO

Yeah and that’ll come down, do you honestly think nylanders asking price is going up as leafs sit at let’s say 9? No he’s patiently waiting at 10 and he’ll get it eventually

Why wpuld the islanders trade a top pair rd on a great contract for a winger who cant pass the .5 ppg mark playing with marner and matthews.

Interesting idea; would be a major deal that’s for sure. Leafs deal from position of relative strength - one of the best top 6’s in league with Minten & Cowan looking good to join next year - for a position of weakness , & Pulock is a legit top pairing RHD. Still think Knies is untouchable but certainly made me think 👍

If Kampf wasn't terrible and signed to a dumb contract, I'd still say drop the 3rd.
