John Gibson doesn't waive for any Canadian team, Especially Toronto.

Mitch Marner isn't leaving his home town of Toronto for the likes of Philly.

St Louis 100% declines, Pavel Buchnevich alone is worth more than that offer.

Philly probably doesn’t accept. Marner is better but not 2x as good given their cap hits next year. It’s basically Marner vs Konecny+5.4 million in cap space.

Throw Knies and 2 firsts in there and then we’ll talk. Why would the Blues trade Buch for less than they gave NYR for him?

Obviously this isn't a fair trade but going 1000 times further the other way makes you look as foolish.

Mine is way closer to Buch’s actual value than a 2nd round pick

really love the "buffbry special" where someone reads a trade, gets mad about it, and suggests an even more ridiculous trade in the opposite direction.

I mean Toronto gave the Blues a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and a B tier prospect for 2 months of O’Reilly (who was having an awful season). 2 years of Buch at $5.8m is easily worth 2+ firsts

Where is the value for the blues. The best asset is a 2nd. Lol that doesn't even get you close to buch

I don't think Philly or Marner would take that trade. Flyers love TK more than most, Marner is very expensive contract wise, and Marner seems to love Toronto too much to willingly move.

I'm sure the Leafs could also try and get more for a player of Marner's caliber anyway.
