It's really all gonna depend on Landeskog's health. I tried to make one for this team but struggled because of that. I like the Lindholm fit that some people suggest, but find it hard to believe they pay such a price for him if there's no space to re-sign him.

1 - Presumably gonna need to shed cap elsewhere, the Wild are in baaaaaad shape for another year still.

2 - Why does Washington do this? There's absolutely nothing in that for them.

I simply don't see Lindholm there. They have no money and even if they move Manson or Girard, they need to allocate the money elsewhere and on multiple players because of their weak depht.

Of all the teams to send Manson. Minni has 14m in dead cap. Manson and M NTC makes him a very difficult trade because any team on his trade list just might have no cap the desire of his 4.5m contract.

That Washington trade is gosh awful for the Caps. No way that Mild trade happens.

Manson when healthy is a great fit AND he is a RD no chance COL just gives him away. Girard is at an all time low trade value right now because of his situation but all it takes to rehab that is have a good season when he comes back.

The roster is way more balanced and skilled. I guess you are one of the people thinking that adding Lindholm at 8.5 and having no one behind is going to make the team way better.

Plus a good 6M and change in retention.
