I bet they keep Foligno and Mrazek and resign them for next year. Davidson has said recently he expects to be less active at the deadline and keep guys they would have probably traded in prior years. I think Dickinson's value has risen too much that he probably gets traded and maybe they retain half on Beauvillier and get their pick back for him but i'd bet guys like TJ, Foligno, and Mrazek stick around and get extensions

I want more than a 3rd and 4th for the final 2 retention spots. With Dickinson and Tyler Johnson also pending UFA's, I think there is a 2nd (we are generally talking late 2nds as it will be playoff teams buying) to be had somewhere with retention.

The last thing the Kings need is a 36-year-old $2 million bottom-6 LW. With Quinton Byfield, Kevin Fiala, Arthur Kaliyev and Carl Grundstrom, we have that entire side covered, and when Viktor Arvidsson comes back, Trevor Moore may go back there (although I think that they'll try Viktor with Kaliyev and Pierre-Luc DuBois first).

Can't see the Hawks trading Foligno unless he specifically asks to be traded. And can't see the Hawks using their retention slots for a 3rd and a 4th in return.

Unless these players really want to be moved, it's barely worth it to use retention slots for this return.

Foligno would look good on a contender's 3rd line, not sure anyone would be willing to part with much to get him though.
