I'd rather see Morrow on the D next year than trade for York.

I think we can wait another year on Nadeau if the AHL situation smooths out. Think Rod would have someone like Unger Sorum join the team to mold into the next Teravainen.

Debrusk isn’t taking a big pay cut to sign in Raleigh, and the Canes aren’t bringing Ned back. No reason to undersell on Necas, especially when it makes no sense to bring in York. Canes likely keep Pesce over Skjei, which was a big reason as to why they signed Orlov.

I mean that Nadeau pick can go to Nadeau or Unger Sorum or Jackson Blake... but Nadeau will need top six minutes when he comes up

I want Morrow to come up to the show but he's not going to be ready for a 1RD role right off the bat and Burns doesn't seem like he's up for it anymore

Pesce hasn't looked good at all and I'd much rather keep Skjei and figure out the right side... we can bring up Morrow and keep Chatfield
DeBrusk is just a place holder name... any decent guy who can fill in on the bottom line
If your going to roll with Freddie and PK then your going to need a third goalie and Ned makes a lot of sense

I don’t know if Philly is going to trade their young players like Cam York for Martin Necas.
I rather have them keep Cam York and see what happens.
Philly is a pretty impressive team with the players they have in their roster.
If I was Philly I wouldn’t do this trade.

Necas would almost certainly be a PPG player with the Flyers... his style of game fits them amazingly

Issue is the Flyers have zero LHD prospects in the system besides Andrea and plenty of top-six/middle-six forwards. York has played well playing on the top-pair this year, would imagine they aren't going to move anyone who isn't a rental from the blueline.

Flyers are giving up their best young D when they are lacking in young D. To me Necas seems much more like a winger than a center and Flyers already have a lot of young wingers and not many young centers. If Necas was better at playing center then maybe Flyers would consider it more, but I don't think they would trade their best young D for a winger.

Flyers wouldn't give up York, imo Frost + Good Piece would be the basis of a trade for Necas

The Hurricanes are going to need an improvement if they deal Necas... Frost isn't that

This seems like it'd be a big win for Philly imo, not sure why the Canes would do this.

Burns is declining and they need a 1RD in the short term
