Oilers aren't paying that, not sure what oiler fan made that. Paying a second and Broberg for a player who has cleared waviers and is in the ahl currently is a massive overpayment even if there is retention.

There's a link to the AGM in the trade info. And I'm well aware the Oilers are not doing that. But that's beside the point here. smile

You aren’t getting Frederic for that offer. You probably could have gotten him during the blood letting that had to happen to meet cap room, but Freddy looks like a keeper. A 3rd and a 6th is an immediate no.

The issue with Acciari is that he is a good PKer and isn't that overpriced. I think the Pens and management like him a lot. He likely isn't moved. Definitely not for a 7th unless the Pens need to move out salary.

The funny thing about Samuelson is that he somehow has a worse contract than Faulk.

You have to link the ACGM so we can take that person's lunch money.

Good deal for the Pens. Gives us the flexibility to try and grab a center who can bring some offensive ability.

Ottawa cannot afford to add $7M of cap, they are already at the cap once Chabot, Joseph and Pinto all return.

Oops, I forgot to put the link on that one. Let me check if I still have it bookmarked.

He does all the ugly stuff (block shots, pk, grinds hard) no reason to get rid of him. Too many pens fans are acting as though he needs to put u 2C points while being the 4C.

Never listen to anything gpmack95 posts, it's all just hilarity and typically way off.

I have traded him in previous ACGMs but that was for cap space reasons. I was a little low on him as well until the friendly folks here showed me he was primarily brought down by Carter

he's typically a stronger player when on the wing (looking back at TOR and STL).

I'd love to see that happen in Pittsburgh but probably tough with cap.

Any idea what the availability of Joel Hofer and price might be? I know Binnington has come up in trade rumours but with so many top teams being low on cap space and needing a goalie, Hofer might be a good add if he’s available
