An idea to think about. Would like more 1st round picks this year. Would have to trade Lindholm and don't want to 🤦
Would sign Toews but don't think he would sign for Calgary 🤷
Clearly at least 4 guys would have to be sent down. This puts some fire under some guys asses to perform.
Trying best as can to get Iginla in the coming draft!

Ranger rumor is total nonsense, Drury would not even consider it for a second and any Ranger GM that would, would be fired on the spot. Never, ever happens.

Why would COL with the biggest need being a 2C trade a cost controlled top 4 young d and their top C prospect for a pending UFA dman and a winger they don’t need. That’s just dumb. COL doesn’t even entertain it.

So if NYR doesn't win the cup they lose a lot of further and Drury needs to find a new job. Not sure he is up for that? I would do Ruzicka and Gilbert for like a 2nd round pick and Jones.
FYI this rumor was with Tanev 50 % salary retention so you messed that one up.
