Montreal declines the CGY and Ottawa trades, while Vancouver declines their trade. I think Montreal would much rather keep their 6.5x4 of Gallagher than pay Huberdeau 9mil for 8 years when he's been worth about half of that. MTL is also not moving what is likely a top 10 pick, the player they just picked at 5 OA and Jordan Harris for a marginal at best upgrade on Caufield

That is completely awful for the Canucks. I wouldn’t give Brzustewicz or Raty straight up for Monahan, Armia is a 3.4M AHLer who’s a cap dump, and Zadorov isn’t getting moved

The Ottawa trade is even worse for Montreal though
