Description

Alr, so Chicago demands an overpay for Dickinson. Let's forget him, but not Chicago all together. We need a goalie right? What about Mrazek?

As for the 2C spot, I genuinely believe Colton has it in him to be that guy. Put him between Drouin and one of Val/Lehky, and he could be great! And while that leaves 3C open, those are a lot easier to find than 2Cs rn.

Mrazek has an M-NTC, not a NTC. It's a 10 team no trade list that he submitted back in July. I'm almost positive COL is not on that list. So, I'm sure y'all would have a good shot at acquiring him if there is interest. CHI definitely accepts. I know that much.

Those are both overpays and if you’re trading that for Frost he needs to be the 2c but the options are limited

Hb a 1st, then Myers and MacDermid then? Drop the 3rd and Schueneman.

Possibly. But he is probably the best rental goalie available (if CHI wants to make him available). There has been a lot of speculation on this, most agree that a 3rd would be fine, a 2nd would be a very nice offer. But there has also been speculation that CHI might want to bring him back for another season or two, which I personally would be in favor of.

And if he doesnt work on the avs you think he will work on *checks notes* the worst offensive team in the league?

I think his situation is mirroring micheal grandlund’s who after his time with the pens was considered a cap dump

Why would SJ be giving any assets for any player that is not a prospect or under 25 type? Worst team in the league in the middle of rebuilding and giving assets for a washed 31 year old to bail your team out of cap hell? That's lunacy. Johansen at $4M has negative value and would require assets to move at this point of his career.

30 pt 4 million dollar for the next two season, especially 30 pt on the caps seems like a cap dump to me
