The 1st is what pays for dumping Schmidt.

So, it's basically Appleton + Lucius for Norris.

Ottawa tells you to kick rocks.

If you want to make a serious offer for Norris, look at what you got for Dubois and then go from there.

Feel free to try again.

If you look at the data , you’ll realize Schmidt has been excellent defensively this year . And he’s retained. I do that trade all day

He's a sheltered defensemen on the third pairing.

That explains why he appears to be excellent defensively.

Trade Norris and Chabot for more futures.

Open up cap space

Fix the prospect pool including adding a top 5 pick

Have a lot of cap space to sign good vets short term and keep the team competitive

lmfao you mean the Dubois trade that looks like one of the worst one sided trades in recent history? you should be more realistic

We might also accept something like what the Jets paid to acquire Dubois from Columbus.

We're under no obligation or timetable to trade either Norris or Chabot.

Jets have zero need for Tanev, so that’s a no
Jets don’t need to acquire Henrique to play on the 4th line
That’s too much for Norris…Not paying a 1st to “ dump” Schmidt
Instead of paying all of this for all of this, Jets best option is just get Lindholm… he fits the need, the style, the age of the Jets team and core

He is sheltered for sure, but in those minutes he and Samberg are tops in the league. That's not nothing, every team shelters Dmen

Winnipeg can have Chabot for a 1st + two 2nds.

That's my asking price

If needed, one or two of the picks can be substituted for a player / prospect with roughly the same value.
