something a little different

Created by: kingkanuck
Team: 2023-24 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 10, 2024
Published: Jan. 10, 2024
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
When the Canucks make the playoffs, they will need more size and truculence.
That's what they will get from Anderson and Kastelic
Roslovic, hopefully, gives them a little more speed and offense.

Even as a habs fan I agree this is too much. Maybe up the retention and downgrade the first to a second or a third

Habs should keep Josh Anderson.
Habs have no interest in Kuzmenko.
Easy pass for Montreal.

Kuzmenko >>>>> Anderson
1st >>>>> 3rd
4th >> 6th

Literally zero reason for the Canucks to do this. Makes the team a lot worse while losing a 1st round pick

Easy pass for Vancouver you mean. Montreal would take this in a heartbeat

For Ros, since the 2nd is in 2025, maybe a slightly earlier round pick this year (like the 2024 4th), and Columbus sends a 5th or 6th back? That's really getting into the weeds, no real reason to decline that trade otherwise. Pretty much meets expectations exactly.
