Canes decline. Even if that wasn't way more than Mangiapane's worth, he's not better than Svechnikov, Necas, Jarvis, Teravainen, or Bunting. No reason to do this

Easy decline from the Red Wings. Why trade two of our better LD prospects for guy we can just sign in Free Agency? Kubalik & Sprong couple examples.

You probably aren't re-signing Teravainen and Mangiapane is pretty much an identical player to him

If the best we can get for Lindholm is 1 measly 1st only when the top 4 teams in the league are all looking to add a top 6 center then Conroy failed hard

Dube trade is not at all realistic

Remove the Sharangovich trade and most of the trades are crazy lopsided for Calgary. I love Marky, but he’s not worth a first even with his great recent play. Contract kills that one.

Bread’s not worth a first either, and Carolina has no reason to make that trade anyways.

Lindy is worth more than a 1st

Dube isn’t betting back a top prospect. I’d be surprised if he got a third back.

The MIN trade is terrible for the Flames. Pospisil has been great and will more than likely take even further steps forward.

Sharangovich in reality is the only non UFA that is worth a 1st.

Markstrom not afraid of a big workload. You can poke holes in his numbers (well we cant) but its more solid than anything we've seen since Marty:

My thought is s bandaid by adding a 3rd UFA goalie like Ned from Pitt let Vitek, Ned, Daws/Schmid fight for spots and deal with Gs in the summer (VV being moved of course) Fits does his best work out of season.
