Why would Chicago give up that pick of its 1st overall? Makes zero sense for them.

Celebrini could be very good but i dont know if thats worth it for MTL, not too mention their 2025 pick should still be a decent pick as i dont think they are making the playoffs next year either. And I know we have a lot of LD right now but not have shown remotely as much as promise as Ghule

If the Hawks get the #1 OA they're drafting Celebrini. You didn't even give the Hawks the MTL 1st??? Crazy bad trade. Also, if the hawks win the lottery again...they can't win it for another 3 years. So they're likely not to trade that away for just about anything.

The is no way the Hawks trade away the opportunity to pair up Celebrini with Bedard, it’s just nonsense to think they would even consider.

This kind of move makes little sense from either side, both teams are rebuilding and both need elite talent up front. The cost to acquire 1st OVA would/should be more than the Habs would want to pay.

Actually, not entirely true, if the Hawks finish second and win the 1st lottery they can't win it again for 3 years. If the Hawks finish 1st and win either lottery or they finish 2nd and win the second lottery, they can win it again since they would not have advanced their position

That's crazy! We're talking about Celebrini not Bedard.

Agree, with Bedard it would need to include Slaf and another 1st at a minimum, but the steep falloff from what I suggested and this package is too big. Celebrini is not Bedard but he's worth more than a late 1st, possible lottery pick next year and Guhle being that LHD is a position of strength for the Hawks.

The simple answer is "No". I think everything else has been said.
