A goalie with one good season and a few below average ones does not give anyone a solid goalie for years to come and it certainly doesnt bring in a return like knies.
Unless you wanna give up your best prospect for samsonov because he was good last year too

Not close on the value for Boeser, regardless of what things looked like last year. Duhaime probably doesn't bring higher than a 4th. And very curious about MIN's goaltending situation. With MAF nearly 40 and and UAF, who is the G next year if you let Gustavsson go (and for Knies?)?

Canucks might have considered that last year, but Boeser is a completely different player now. Boeser wants to be in Vancouver and management wants to keep him, he’s practically untouchable. It would take multiple 1sts+ to convince the Canucks to even consider moving one of the NHL’s top goal scores this season.
