Jake Guentzel to VCR? No thanks.
Akito Hirose to Philly? No thanks. I can’t see Torts working with Akito Hirose. It won’t go well TBH.

Bud it's a rental, 1st + B Prospect + C Prospect + Previous 39 Goal Scorer, is plenty. Check out some comparables. Horvat, who's a year younger and plays centre, went for a 1st + B Prospect + Middle 6 Winger.

Why would VAN care if Akito is a fit for Torts or not. It's a C Prospect for a physical depth defensemen.

A rental, who is #2 in Expected goals this season. And who has consistently been a 30-40 goal scorer. Horvat has scored 40 goals exactly 0 times. He has scored 30+ twice. Guentzel has nearly as many goals as Horvat in 300 less games. They are on very different planets my man.

A good comparison for a great goal scorer who is a rental would be Hossa. He went for two 20 goal scorer NHL regulars, a 1st, and the best prospect in the Pens system.

Also, Kuzmenko has 1 good season and 1 ok season. He is far from a sure thing.

Kuzmenko, 1st, Lekkerimaki for Guentzel

I think Philadelphia would pass on this, considering they are potentially re-signing him. I think the minimum they can get for Seeler in the market is at least a 3rd, if not more if some GM really values his shot blocking and physical play.
