      Bruins have $ 25 884 166 in their cap space next season, and maybe they can trade somes contracts away.

      Tons of cap space - Krejci/Bergeron bonuses coming off the books from last year and expected rise in cap. Most core pieces locked up long-term

      Montreal only has 1 Retention spot left and they aint using it to help the bruins to get a 2nd back tears of joy

      Retention spots are retentions spots doesn't matter if ur the 3rd team or the main team

      Bruins aren't going four straight years without a 1st or 2nd round pick. Just not happening.

      Also, that extra retention doesn't cost nearly that much. Minny got a 5th for retaining $ in the Orlov deal last year, that's the ballpark you're looking at

      You make a trade for both Lindholm and Hanifin, you probably need to have Ullmark as part of it for long term cap reasons.
