And I don't think Seattle pays a 2nd to get the slightly better defenseman. The gap between Dumoulin and Brodie right now isn't so big that it warrants paying that much and risking a chemistry issue.

Hischier is awesome, and the more complete player, and will have the better overall career in all likelihood. He's a defensive beast.

But right now? I mean, I've got to give the slight edge to the guy on an insane bender who's 9th in the league in points. But that's no reason to trade Hischier, especially when he's already locked up for less.
