it's tough to imagine a worse trade for boston. all this does is make them worse short term and long term.

It might have something to do with the 34 y.o defending much better this year. That 34 y.o is shutting down 1st lines on a nightly basis. Meanwhile, Liljegren only has 2 years of team control after this one, and hasn't shown he's more than a 4/5 at this point.
