This is exactly what the Jets should do.

If you can get both on reasonable deals, it helps with this year's cup run and future years. And you keep your top 3 prospects in McGraorty, Lambert, and Barlow.

This would be my ideal TDL.

Schmidt is worse than Chychrun and more expensive.

Chibrikov is intriguing but Russian, small... I'd want Brad Lambert seriously

I feel like jets fans will lowball because they don’t want another LHD . But seriously will take one of Lambert, McGroarty or Barlow for me to consider Winnipeg. Otherwise just move him for a 1st by a much better team like say Washington
