Then holtz will stay.

If Montreal didn’t want the price on top quality ELCs to be so high they shouldn’t have set the market by paying so much for Dach and Newhook.

Florida immediately rejects. Lundell is too important for us to trade.

So many here underrate Lundell. He's what ppl believe how Barkov is perceived as underrated tho everyone knows Barkov is amazing!

I was only thinking if they resign Reinhart then money will be very tight for a Lundell contract.

I already posted this year 1st and next years 1st from CGY. That enough?

Otherwise, MTL can always offer Reinhart a massive contract in free agency. That seems to be a way for KH to leverage his position with picks and cap space.

What?! Nemec has been unreal defensively.

Maybe analytically, but from the few games I have seen of him (around 15 cuz Devils tickets are way cheaper than Rangers), he was not very good. He was making bad defensive decisions all the time.

Far better than alphabet soup or whatever you call that goon up there. But go head and believe whatever u want.

Has someone ever said Xhekaj is better than Nemec lol. You are comparing a second overall pick who is playing at 19 to an undrafted player who isn’t currently in the league and will top out as a #4 if we are lucky

You're watching the wrong player than. They had a bad line change and got caught. Do you guys up there take one play and call it that's how Xxxxx is as a player. Nemec walked onto this team because of injuries and looked like he had been there for years! Our other D has looked bad, maybe you mean Marino or Siegenthaler or Bahl? Nemec is hardly the problem, I have more issues with Luke Huges then I do with Simon Nemec.

I know who #17 is… he hasn’t been good in all the game I watched, maybe it was live bias but as I was rooting for the devils in the majority of those games, I doubt it

Luke Hughes has been their best D by a huge margin

You wanna talk about a guy who makes mistakes! Defensively he's no where near as good as SN. Offensively he's excellent. But he's like his brother where he will be great, but cost you. Often times when you need him to be at his best, he's not. SN is closer to a complete seasoned defender than Hughes is. Luke will be there in 1-2 yrs time I have no doubt but not currently. Just last wk LH coughed up that terrible play to cost us the extra point that we desperately needed.

This is Ducks fan level ignorance when trying to pump Zegras value calling TV, their best forward, when Leo Carlsson and Mason McTavish are on the roster. I dont get it. The bad faith arguments are tired.

Both are bad defensively, but Hughes is actually insane offensively

Nemec has played 10 games at home in his career (22 total).
So you have attended 15 games in at least six different cities to watch him since Dec 1st?

If you had, you would be saying what most others who watch him have said....the defense, maturity, poise is uncommon for a 19-year old.

Nope, he is worst than Guhle, Kovacevic, Savard, Struble and he is right there equal to Matheson and Harris. He is only better than Barron

He is 19-years old, playing top-pair minutes against opponents best lines and routinely making great plays. We have seen many Habs fans deride Nemec to justify their draft choice, but on this, I’m afraid you won’t find a lot of company. He has been nothing short of fantastic.

He definitely has been impressive for a 19 years old, he just isn’t better defensively than Guhle just yet. In 2-3 years, he will probably be better

Funniest part….is that Josh Anderson, who hits, and who we could have had if we had shipped out total busts Luke and Nemec to Montreal…was the one sitting the press box this week.

But I guess Luke and Nemec would have never made that Habs team anyway.
