Jets don't really have a use for Brannstrom. Stanley could be a different player or just for picks

no chance ANYONE ever takes on the hubereau contract, remove Norris and add a 3rd to compensate for Forsberg 1.5 years remaining and ott might accept the philly trade. Norris alone has far more value than hart

I think it’s more trade we’re two players need a change of scenery. Brannstrom holds a little more value in my opinion, so I think jets could also flip him as well for picks

Risky trade for sure, but it could work out, plus think Huberdeau is just of a bad team, I guarantee him with Stützle he would be at least a 70 point player, not worth 9 million but definitely could make it less bitter. Many insiders said Ottawa doesn’t get any Defensemen unless they take in a bad contract. This is the bad contract.

Also I don’t understand your Philly trade? If we remove Norris Philly doesn’t accept that. Also Norris does not hold more value then Hart, I say they are probably similar, Forsberg is a negative asset in my opinion and probably Philly’s so 2nd for compensation

Why would Calgary do that? Huberdeau is only a negative asset to a team in cap peril. After this season Calgary will be more than 10M below the cap ceiling if they don't make any dumb UFA signings.

It might be interesting for Philly, but I don't know much about Norris. Does he have potential to become a 1C longterm?

G are worth the least of all positions, Hart is worth at most a 2nd

He's not playing up to his full potential after missing last season, but he's a got top 15 shot in the league. Was on pace for 40+ goals in his last season before getting hurt.

There is no incentive that makes taking on that Huberdeau contract the RIGHT THING TO DO.
Trade value (which I don't like) aside, I'd be hesitant to take on Hart. I mean OTT didn't sign Formenton so why sign Hart unless they know he's in the clear.

They know who’s involved and who’s not, it’s common knowledge within the hockey community if you know a player who was on the WJC team or know a player on one of the teams that a WJC player played on. Hart is not involved and formenton definitely was.

I don't think your statement about Hart is aging well.

Yep. Oops, to be fair I was only told of formenton, McLeod and Foote. Didn’t know if Dube and Hart.
