Wtf lol. 2 trades are terrible for the pens and then the other 2 are even worse for the other teams.

Why? Smith is a bit cheaper, has the same term, same point production as Kuzmenko but he's got a ring and is a playoff performer, seems like a good swap for the Nucks.

Cause if they both are pretty much the same, you might as well stick with the devil you know than the devil you don’t.

Meh, I'd rather have the devil that's known to be a playoff performer then the devil thats never played in the NHL playoffs, if the Nucks plan on keeping Kuzmenko long term that's a different story though.

Kuzmenko has been good in the playoffs in Russia. So I’d rather keep him if I’m Vancouver than take the older guy whose been basically the same statistically.

Kuzmenko and Smith are pretty even, but I’d say Kuzmenko has a higher upside. I’d rather hold onto him while his value is low and hope he bounces back like Boeser did

We also have no room for POJ, moving a 3rd for him doesn’t make sense

Because Kuzmenko has the higher ceiling and is younger, we are also adding a pick on top of it while getting an ahl defensemen the value just isn't here for Vancouver we aren't going to sell low on Kuzmenko if he is even traded at all

Noah Hanifin is worth way more.

Bryan Rust won't waive for Florida, it was basically either re-sign back with Pittsburgh or sign with Hometown Detroit. No way he wants to be that far from home long term.

Getting Malkin another winger would be great - but trading Rust makes it meaningless. It should be in addition to Rust. That's also a bad trade.

Also, that Pettersson trade is incredibly bad.
