Way too much for the Leaf to give up. Minten, Tverberg, and Xehjaki are playng in the AHL. Hardly unlikely all three are NHLers next season.
Don't see where Monahan fits into the Leafs lineup this season, never mind AHLer Xehjaki. So that's way too much to give up for Savard.

Our healthy offensive line up gets quite crowded with Monahan in it, but I think the depth would be a great idea. If one of our top 6 guys gets hurt, having Monahan would be a great addition.

Multiple offers for Xhekaj have already been turned down by Hughes according to Friedman, Habs aren't looking to move him at all.

Xhekaj is in the starting lineup, whether you like him or not he is an NHL quality D man. Look at how adding him to a floundering Laval roster boosted their game to the point that they are a playoff team now. Add that to the struggles the Habs have had in their own end since sending him down, and that explains why the Habs aren't trading Xhekaj and if they did, it certainly wouldn't be to a team they have to face 4 times a year in the regular season and compete with for a playoff spot once they come out of the rebuild.

I agree, Hughes is not trading Arber. I was having fun with Leafs fan favourite Reaves!
