Lindholm is not worth that now if you look at his game and underlying metrics, as he ages it will be even worse.

I don’t see them resigning JVR. Especially multi year deal. Been pretty quiet lately and with Lysell and Merk needing a spot on the roster next year he’s just blocking them.

I just don't think Lindholm for that much and that long is a good idea. I get they need a center, but that just seems like a shortsighted move.

Odds are if Ullmark is traded it’s for picks/prospects and clear cap space.

When is the last time you saw a team trade an established top 4 quality d man that was not past his prime or had a bad contract for goalie? It doesn’t happen. Goalies generally just don’t carry that kind of trade value. The odds of a player for player trade of Ullmark for a quality D man is pretty slim. Especislly a young high end one.

Coyle, Frederic, Wotherspoon all more deserving the 7th man award, maybe even Geekie and Heinen. The first 3 have exceeded expectations, the criteria for the award. JVR is who we thought he is, a productive 3rd liner that excels on the PP and struggles 5 v 5. His next contract will be a 35+ contract. He’s been a nice add for the year, but not a long term option. He has 2 goals in last 21 games, production has disappeared.

Lysell a bust? Stop listening to moron/impatient fans. He is 20, in his 2nd year in NA, and on a heater. Needs to work on his defense, most young kids do.

I love JEE, i like Pinto. They will cost significant assets to aquire and in JEE’s case moving out cap.

Are you talking about the first or second world juniors that Lysell played in last year? It’s obvious that playing one before the season, playing in the AHL, and then going to the second World Juniors was a mistake. He wore out, but he’s playing well in Providence at a young age since he got pushed by Mougenal. I’ll take his skating and offensive skill over a ton of players. He needs work

I don’t anticipate that Boston makes a trade this trade deadline. I assume they wait until free agency, keep their picks, and try to figure out what’s next after that time frame .
