I think greenway could play LW with Boeser and Miller. Probably some untapped scoring there too. He was a regular 30-40 point pace player in Minnesota

Sabres wouldn’t be interested in either deal imo

1- not only do we not wanna trade Greenway, we wouldn’t wanna bring in a player like Kuzmenko - already have plenty of offense

2- while we might have interest in a player like Boqvist, it’s highly unlikely we’d wanna trade Johnson to get him. We like Johnson& i doubt we’d move him at all

R. Johnson is better than Boqvist and I would rather him play his opposite side than Boqvist plus give up a 2nd.

Well in all fairness, Kuzmenko has been a 5.5M 3-4th line player (or scratch) this season.

So target a fourth liner in Greenway, when the Canucks already have better, and then Canucks they cant address the real issue at center or in the top 6. Yeah that makes lots of sense.

That’s fair, but his ceiling is also much higher than Greenway’s, as he showed last season. Kuzmenko and Greenway have the same amount of career goals despite Greenway playing 247 more games. I just don’t see much upside in him
