PLD'S trade value is at an all-time low so we could probably get him this cheap, 25% retained though.

Absolutely zero chance Kings retain over 2m salary from PLD for 8yrs without getting at very least a neutral return in a trade. I completely understand his trade value is super low (virtually nonexistent) right now but my god. The Kings would basically be sacrificing their entire 4th line for 8yrs while getting nothing back in return just to get rid of him which would never happen.

Granted PLD trade value is dirt, but to say that Kings retain is just dumb. They are in no rush to trade him nor should they be at this point. Just another Habs fan wanting a Francaphone for his team and doing it so as not to give anything.

No thx don't want the prima donna reborn to come here scrap all good chemistry and atmosphere in the room with is attitude. If he really wanted to come to Montreal he would have done it. As of now the only reason the name Montreal was associated with him is because Dubois have use the Habs team name as an negotiations tool like many player before.

PLD currently has more points than Gallagher, Newhook, Anderson, Evans and Armia. With PLD is getting 4th line minutes. He's a natural talent, that fans here in mtl don't appreciate. No wonder PLD decided on L.A rather than Mlt.

He would thrive in Mtl.
