Helping the Sens?
lol this is absolutely terrible
I wouldn't pick up Monahan or Savard on waivers.
Monahan has the 5th worst xGA/60 in the NHL among forwards with at least 200 ES minutes. Kubalik has the 139th worst and I can't stand his game
Savard is a bit better (lol) with only the 6th worst xGA/60 in the NHL among D-men with at least 200 ES minutes. Hamonic is 29th and I don't want to see him an additional minute
Norris is not back to form yet but the guy has a similar career GPG to Cole Caufield plus before his injury he was a top line 2-way center (with much better defensive metrics than Suzuki). It's way too early to give up on him
Chabot has been one of the elite transitional D-men for years, 17th best PPG among D-men since 2017-18, 2nd in TOI/GP
Jake Allen is also not very good, only good thing about him is he has 3 years less than Korpisalo... But don't want to be stuck with Allen next season
All of Allen, Monahan and Savard are of ZERO interest
I would rather than you just remove them from the equation but even then, the Sens are not going to GIVE AWAY Chabot and Norris to dump Korpisalo's contract and get a 1st round pick in 2.5 years
They could just go for the easy solution and buyout Korpisalo if he isn't fixed (they could wait another year)

So Habs get two overpaid injury prone players and a mediocre backup goalie.
Yeah. no chance.
