Description
I posted an ACGM similar to this one yesterday. This is basically the same except I removed the teams that dont fit so far. Trying to get more answers on that. Also, after seeing the Lindholm trade I think we can expect a bigger return for Jake than weve been thinking. Not to mention hes a better player than Lindholm.

To be quite honest, I think we should look into signing Jake to a contract before we trade him, or let him agree to a contract with the team hes being traded to. That would up his value. A sign a trade basically. Below are teams that I think could be interested in Jake if he were to be put on the market. I went ahead and made some mock offers to show what'd i'd personally want, but please leave a comment explaining if the fit doesn't make sense and provide what could be on the table if he were to be a fit. Some of these might be lopsided in value so other pieces can be added to make it more even. These are just the base of the trade. Retention can also be on the table. I based these off of the Lindholm trade.

Below I'm gonna mark off what teams dont fit for Guentzel (just for myself so I know for future Guentzel trade ideas):

Right and while you diss Jake, you're defending Sid lol. I guess we can confirm that if Laffy was on Pittsburgh he'd be a much better player huh. Same goes for Kakko. Sounds to me like you're a little jealous that those 2 won't become as good as Jake is.

Maybe.... but you changing subjects just to rationalize your argument makes you look small and wrong.
ThankS for proving my point though!!!
                Winning!!!!

Anything else you'd rather refer to than the current subject??

Id prefer Necas + Nikishin + 1st with Guentzel extension

Necas plus a 1st is an overpay.
Guentzel will not sniff 40 goals ever again if he leaves Crosbys wing.
25 goals per year for Guentzel away from Crosby and that is generous.

Maybe.... but you changing subjects just to rationalize your argument makes you look small and wrong.
ThankS for proving my point though!!!
                Winning!!!!

Anything else you'd rather refer to than the current subject??

No one has came in defending you because what you're saying is simply false in every aspect. Once again, theres nothing else you can say except "Hes plays with sid that makes him bad". Yet we've provided all the proof that Jake is far better than how you're describing. Good day sir.

Values here are a bit askew. For instance, the VAN offer is way better than the TOR package.

Necas plus a 1st is an overpay.
Guentzel will not sniff 40 goals ever again if he leaves Crosbys wing.
25 goals per year for Guentzel away from Crosby and that is generous.

Guentzel was on pace for close to 50 playing on Malkins wing in 2020 -- Guentzel played with Rodrigues and Carter two seasons ago and put up amazing numbers.

You're obviously taking it serious too if you're taking the time to reply to all of these. If you're a grown man then defend yourself lol, haven't seen much of that.

You think he's gonna want to resign here. The team hasn't been all that great, and instead of losing him for nothing this allows us to gain some future assets and look towards a rebuild.

Nashville has a worse points% than Pittsburgh and has a worse record in their last 10 games. They have a terrible center core and their RHD group is weak but sure they are gonna send you a really strong RW prospect, solid LHD prospect, 1st, and some extras for a winger to pair him with one of their awesome centers like *checks notes* Colton flippin Sissons. Yeah that's gonna turn their franchise around. They dont need a competent 2C or anything. They need shiney toys

                For Guentzel???
                Is Crosby coming too??
Guentzel is not a line 1 winger away from Crosby.
180 lbs maybe, not fast/not slow, no physical game, net front he's a mouse. Nothing special for a shot, average stick skills.

I'm confused.... why would ANY TEAM trade this much for so little??

Jake Guentzel has 16 goals, 24 assists, and is a +9 in 38 games without Crosby. Before you say something with such conviction, make sure you're right

I know you said NSH isn't a great fit, but NSH would kill for another goal scorer like Guentzel. That said, the package you have for him is a bit rich for NSH, as Molendyk is looking like Josi's replacement and will be part of NSH's future top pair. Fink has also looked good, and I'd rather have them in the future than try to add Guentzel and deny what is happening in NSH even longer.

I've been told by Carolina fans that he isnt really a fit. But since you asked...

                2024 1st
                Teravainen
                Nadeau
                Nikishin

Something along those lines. Similar to the Lindholm trade.

That is probably too much for Guentzel. Nikishin has been elite in the KHL and Nadeau has been tearing up the NCAA. With a first too that seems steep, I know Guentzel is very good but that is a LOT to give up.

" Kingerski would be surprised if Guentzel rejected such an offer from the Penguins. He might get a little more than that on the open market, but his stats are a little inflated from skating on Sidney Crosby’s wing for most of his career. "

Lyle Richardson, Spector Hockey. It's an industry perspective, not mine. Everyone knows ..... lol
Yeah let's pretend, for Pens fans sake, Guentzel is what drives the line???? Lol hahaha....

                Oh, I'm right alright.
