Sharangovich coming off a 30 point season was just traded with a 3rd for a 73 point player. He's now on pace for 69 points this season and 30+ goals. There's no reason for the Flames to sell on him while he's just settling in, if he keeps up this pace then they could get a haul at the deadline next season. Way too early to think about that move.

Lol, no. I like him, but he's still got a higher xGA than xGF. He's having a great year in terms of production, but that doesn't mean he's worth a 1st

Yegor was certainly valued at around a 1st by Calgary when they acquired him and is now having an excellent year.

What has he exactly done this year that demands significant assets?

The fact that we aren’t shopping him and we have no need to trade him, that’s what

Dude is a poor man's Martin Necas... he's not going to net a significant return especially if he goes to a team like Carolina

Yes exactly 1 more but they are the same kind of player... Poor on the defensive end while exciting on the offensive end and Necas doesn't vibe that well with the system so why would Zegras.

Zegras was much much improved in the d zone in his games this year with Cronin

One of three players to have two 60-point-plus seasons before his 23rd birthday.

It was in all the papers.
