That's the problem, he's not very good defensively. The only time he IS that good is when he's sheltered.

No one said he had a season of 9 goals. The point is, his first 9 goals in pit 4 of them were empty nets. That was the kind of production he was bringing. Empty net goals, garbage goals, followed by long streaks of no goals.
This was his play and there is a trail of news articles about it all over the web. How can you even deny it.
He was there after trade dead line, 1 season, then 1/2 the next season with injury.
During the whooping 2 total seasons of ice time he had, the play was inconsistent at best.
He flashed a few times, people liked him because he was fast and had spunk one of the few pens willing to drop gloves and stick up for himself.
But at the end of the day, he just did not produce anywhere near like you want to say.
