Take out Wallinder and I guess.
Wouldn't be happy about it, tho.

Sure seems like the Sabres are in a perpetual rebuild, but I think they'd probably offer up a definitive "no!" to that trade.

That’s a lot to give up for someone I don’t think will make Detroit a perennial contender. Not saying he isn’t worth it but I think it’s a little premature for Detroit.

Zero chance of Detroit dealing both Johansson and Wallinder for a winger, Buchnevich is already making $5,800,000 i doubt we're going to be able to afford him long term in 2025/2026 NHL seson.

It's just not the right time for Detroit to be making such a trade.

I hate the idea of trading Wallinder. 😬

Perpetual rebuild or not the Sabres are not giving up a young top six forward with team control for a middle first round pick only. You’re going to have to give up more and make it a better offer than then anyone else is going to make. Because they don’t have to trade him.

Well @Sicarius….
I know- that’s there’s no way in hell that the Sabres do ANYTHING remotely close to that
1- we aren’t trading Mitts
2- not interested in futures for our good players

ZERO CHANCE
