Sure, Byram hasn’t excatly looked great this year. But treating him like he doesn’t have significant value to the Avs management is wrong. Also, no retention on Nelson for next year will create some problems for you.

only way i'd see something like this going down would be byram and ryjo for nelson ++. Nelsons age is a huge factor here.

From an Isles point of view. I do not do this deal at all. Behrens is an undersized D=Man (don't want that at all). Byram, with his injury history and just now progressed to all the hype he got and a bottom half 1st rounder. No thanks.
