There's no deal that makes sense for either one of these teams

Plus Mittelstadt is a terrible fit for the Canes. Doesn't have a parler account

Very interesting. Going strictly by the numbers, that goalie looks like a very promising young player. As for the d-man, I'm familiar with the name and although he's on the smaller side, he's got some pretty good skills to build upon. Yet, I'm not sure he'd be the type of d-man they'd go for in a Mitts trade.

Not a bad trade package

Yikes no as in Sabres don't need a goalie. Starts with Morrow or Pesce with and extension

Sabres don't need goalies or small d men lol, so no it's not a good package

I mean, that's what's been said the Sabres are after. But, I understand from a fan perspective and the two young goalies on the roster now.

Is it ideal? No. But it might be the best trade package I've seen here for Mitts.

As I said it's not a bad trade package for Mitts--a first rounder a goalie who looks like a No. 1, a promising d-man and another pick.

If Pesce is willing to sign an extension with Buffalo, why trade for him when you can pursue him in the off season?

Then they're not realistic.

I like Mitts. He's a very strong complimentary player, but not a top line play driver. Maybe not even a second line play driver.

Buffalo just signs Mittelstadt if they don't get what they want, they aren't backed into a corner

Mitts at 5yrs./$30M is as high as they should go.

Idk I'm not him. But less competition the better if the Sabres want to sign a UFA.

Buffalo fan here. People need to stop thinking that Buffalo is looking to acquire picks and prospects. They already have more than any other team. This trade needs to include a top 4 RHD, a #1 goalie, and/or a top 9 gritty winger. And no expiring UFAs.

Don't think Mittlestadt is the best fit for that 2C spot, like mentioned above he's more of a complimentary player but we need another play driver at center. Also trading a goalie, especially Kochetkov is the very last thing we should be doing. He's not going anywhere.
